Railway Preservation Group is a limited Company formed with the intention of preserving elements of Locomotives, Rolling Stock and railway lines that operated within the British Isles since the dawn of the railway age. A core componment of this is to preserve the skills required to build, maintain and run these icons of their time.
There are many ways we intend to achieve this but the basics start with this website, compiling as much information as we can about the Railway Age in the British Isles as well as helping sign post people to other locations that can assist with information gathering and research.
It is within our plans to preserve Locomotives and stock but above all to preserve the skills that built, maintained and ran them over the last two centuries.
